Montgomery County Community was founded in 1964 and ranks among the top community colleges in the state. With a focus on access and student success, the college provides and relevant and comprehensive core curriculum that includes 85 associate's degree and certificate programs in 59 areas of study, including eight degrees offered entirely online, and specialized workforce development and continuing education programs. Academic areas of specialization include the visual and performing arts, science and technology, business, the liberal arts and social sciences, public safety, education and the health sciences. Our beautiful suburban campus boasts exceptional new buildings and facilities, particularly in the areas of digital communications, technology, health and science labs and the fine and performing arts. The College is located in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County at the junction of Route 202 and Morris Road. The 186-acre campus is situated between Norristown and Lansdale, approximately 45 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. The West Campus is located in Pottstown PA. and is easily accessed by the Rt. 422 bypass.
